Amanda mondt
Dr. Amanda Mondt grew up in Buffalo and Central NY, spending most of her childhood in the North Syracuse area and beginning her veterinary career as a young high school student right here when Brewerton Hospital for Animals was known as Clear Lakes Animal Wellness. Dr. Mondt earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Cornell University where she also volunteered with Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Dr. Mondt gained valuable experience in exotics and triage while working as an education intern at the Utica Zoo and as a veterinary assistant at an emergency and specialty practice. Committed to staying in Central NY, Dr. Mondt earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell in 2020. Dr. Mondt has a passion for exotic pocket pets, dermatology and behavioral medicine. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mondt enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature with her lab mix and rooting for the Buffalo Bills. Most of all, Dr. Mondt is excited to be returning to our practice and is eager to meet her new patients and their owners.
